Short rant: Is this the result of mass media minus the newspaper, which is now losing the market share amongst the instant news media and sound bytes?

Here is an interesting website that has been touted on a news channel as website dedicated to ensuring that the Government “dumbs down” the language of the legislature that is being voted on. So that, not only the congressional staffers and the “common folk” can be able to read and understand the written document but also the senators, who we elect, pay to read, and comprehend.
